Toe up Socks - July 1 & 8 * 6:30pm - 8:30pm

This incredibly addictive method of knitting socks is sure to bring you many hours of relaxation and inspiration.  Techniques you will learn:

• Judy's Magic Cast-On
• Short Row Heals with Wrapped Rows
• Stretchy Bind-off

In this two-session class we will work through cast on and toe, and then the heal and binding off.  We start by discussing needles and yarn weight and you will have the opportunity to decide which type of needles is best for you with this project.

You can decide to knit an anklet, a knee-high, or anything in between. Once you get going you may end up with leggings!

Throughout the class we will address questions about the sock construction, tricky points in the instructions, and additional techniques.  

Supplies:  

• The pattern will be supplied
• Needles, size 2 recommended.  Choose between
• 2, 16 inch circular
• 1 set of double pointed
• 1 40 inch circular for magic loop
• Approximately 420 yards of sock yarn

All students receive a 10% discount for items purchased in the store.  Feel free to bring your own supplies.
