October 24th, 6:00pm to 9:00pm  OR  November 16th, 10:00am to 1:00pm 

If you are a newer rigid heddle loom weaver, come join us and learn 6 techniques that will add extra interest to your creations. 

In this hands-on workshop you will learn to: 

  • Hemstitch
  • Use a pickup stick to create Leno Lace
  • Inlay
  • Hand manipulate yarn to create loops for a highly textured weft and add art yarn
  • Make twisted fringe
  • Use two shuttles in weaving

What to bring to class:

  • already warped rigid heddle loom. Warp should be:
             - worsted or dk weight yarn
             - solid colored
             - at least 9-10” wide
             - at least 1 yard long
  • 2 stick shuttles
  • Pick up stick if you have one (we will have some to borrow)

We will provide a variety of colorful yarns for you to create your clasped
weft sampler and, as always, you are welcome to bring your own.
