Portuguese knitting is a special style known for being easy on the hands - you can learn it quickly and easily on YouTube! Traditionally the yarn is tensioned by draping it around the back of your neck, but this little tool is much more comfortable. It pins to your shirt, usually the left shoulder, and the yarn goes from the ball over the hook of the pin and then to your knitting.
