Knitting 101 - 2 hour session - Various dates

Knitting 101
Instructor: Sharon Henderson

This 2-hour class is designed for those who have little to no experience knitting.  The class is appropriate for children 10 and older when accompanied by an adult; please include a note regarding the age of a child when registering. 

 We will knit on small swatches and explore the joys of learning to knit.

During this session you will learn 

• How to cast on
• The knit stitch
• The purl stitch
• How to cast off
• How to pick up a dropped stitch
• How to fix a twisted stitch

Materials

• No need to bring items - We will use shop materials throughout this class
