NEW! Knitwear Fitting and Planning Workshop ~ Dec 20th ~ 1pm to 2:30pm
Knitwear Fit 101 — Learn to Measure, Plan, and Knit Garments You Truly Love
If you’ve ever finished a knitted sweater only to discover it fits almost right (or… not at all), this class is the cozy confidence-booster you’ve been looking for! Join us for a friendly, hands-on workshop all about taking measurements, understanding ease, and planning knitwear that actually fits the way you want it to.
In this approachable session, we’ll walk through how to measure yourself accurately (yes, even those tricky spots), how to translate those numbers into pattern choices, and how to tweak sizing so your finished garment feels like it was made just for you—because it was.
No math degree required—just a willingness to learn, plan, and maybe have a little “aha!” moment or two.
In this class, you’ll learn:
🧶 How to take clear, useful body measurements
🧶 What ease is, and how to choose the right amount for your style
🧶 How to read garment schematics without fear
🧶 How to compare your measurements to a pattern’s numbers
🧶 Planning tips to help you cast on with confidence
Feel free to bring your next project pattern with you so we can work directly on something you are ready to tackle.
