Clasped Weft Weaving Weaving, Oct 13th or Nov 12th
Clasped Weft Weaving
Instructor: Lori Rolston
October 13th 10am to 1pm OR November 12th 6pm to 9pm
Are you a weaver having completed a couple of plain weaving projects? Are you looking for something a bit more adventurous?
Clasped weft weaving is a great “next step” that looks complicated but is quite simple. This is a wonderful technique that looks lovely in scarves, table runners, dishtowels, pillows, wall hangings, and more.
Come join us and learn the clasped weft technique using 2, 3, and 4 interlocking weft colors.
What to bring to class:
- already warped rigid heddle loom. Warp should be:
- worsted or dk weight yarn
- solid colored
- at least 9-10” wide
- at least 1 yard long - 2 stick shuttles
We will provide a variety of colorful yarns for you to create your clasped
weft sampler and, as always, you are welcome to bring your own.
